My work is an attempt at interpellation and permanent conversation with the viewer and their internal landscapes and those around them. I aim to build an empathetic and direct relationship with the individual or collective unconscious of those who face an inanimate visual experience such as painting or drawing. To interact from a common complicity sustained by elements of nature, humans and domestic, as dreamlike and unexpected.
I studied Fine Arts at the University of Chile between 1983 and 1987. I was a student of the masters Gonzalo Díaz and Adolfo Couve. I have painted as an amateur without any major pretensions and intermittently since I left the School of Arts and I have exhibited in collective exhibitions within Chile.
Since 2014 I have dedicated myself to painting professionally and permanently.
As a visual artist I have exhibited in numerous collective and individual exhibitions in Chile and some of my works are in private collections in the United States, Argentina and Chile.
My work has been published in Spain, Mexico, England and Chile.
